This EP consists of three tracks, two of which are taken from our previous EP and rearranged and reworked. We'd like it to resemble our past material, while also being the foundation for our new full-length, which we're already working on.
But we'd also like FORVM IVLII to show our technical and stilistic evolution, thanks also to our new drummer Giulia (first time in the studio for her) and our collaboration with our ex-drummer Davide, now our producer, that recorded, co-arranged, mixed and mastered this ep, still as a full-fledged band member.
"Forvm Ivlii"'s concept is focused on the foundation of the Italian region of Friûl , the band's motherland, and its Roman and Celtic origins.
The artwork, made by Friûl -based painter and mosaicist Giulio Candussio and coloured by talented young illustrator Pierfrancesco Briaud, it portrays the clash between the celtic tribes and the roman empire that took place 2000 years ago on our land, Friûl , that also contributed to shape its unique historical, linguistic and cultural identity.
